 « Dale/David Project #100--Champagne Cocktail | Main | Liquor Store Treasures, Pt 1 » Dale/David Project #101--Caricature CocktailThe Caricature Cocktail was created by Gary Regan in honor of Dale's wife Jill, who is a caricature artist. Regan admits that it is a variation of Dale's own Old Flame cocktail. The caricature consists of Gin, Campari, Sweet Vermouth and Grapefruit Juice. (The Old Flame is the same drink with orange juice instead of grapefruit, and with the addition of Cointreau.)

I have to say that this was a beautifully balanced cocktail, yet I would be curious to perform a side-by-side with the Old Flame to see how Gary's variation holds to the original or if it bests it.
