After searching since October of last year, a new Tipsy Manor has been located and purchased. 78741 is the new 78704! The migration has begun, starting with 30+ cases of liquor - craziness.

Cocktail genius, or just all-around-genius, Bobby Heugel will be making a guest shaking appearance at Annie's on Congress tonight from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Bobby and his band of merry men are the proprietors of Anvil Bar and Refuge in Houston. They are fanatics with attention to detail, quality and history.

The special menu of original and favorite classic cocktails that we will be serving tonight at Annie's, 319 Congress.

Yesterday the refrigerator at Tipsy Manor made its way onto Addie Broyles's blog at Austin360.com. Addie's weekly column What's In Your Fridge Friday explores the ice boxes of Austin residents and we were the lucky guests this week. Due to some rain delays this week and the fact of the 45 degree slope on the new driveway, the fridge almost didn't make it to the new Tipsy Manor location in time for the shoot. But an athletic crew of Chris Roberts (Paula's Texas Spirits), Tipsy, and myself managed to pull together and get the task done in time for Addie's interview.

The crew struggled moving the fridge in the rain, but a high level of determination (and no shortage of beer) made the move a reality. You can view Addie's interview here.
